You know, I've never heard anything by Ted Leo...

I'm really liking that Of Montreal disc... think it's a corker, but definitely an acquired taste, reminds me a lot of Destroyer, very eloquent "pop" music. I went back to that over the summer after not hearing it for ages, forgot what a great album it was...

Was sent a prom of this. The album's actually grown on me from my first listen...

Funny ole band Cold War Kids - lots of press and some great tunes, but they still remind me of The Walkmen in places and some tunes are really a bit duff...

I'm really enjoying this too, not as straightforward as their debut, it's a little darker in tone and feel. I actually quite like "Satan", it feels like something you could dance to

Great stuff... proving their album wasn't a one off, bit more Beta Band influence this time around.

I'm still not overly keen on it... It just hasn't clicked with me at all...

I've been enjoying this one: Not Your Usual Bollocks http://notyourusualbollocks.squarespace.com/ It's a music one, but still really rather good for catching stuff from new artists...

I just ordered it for work evaluation purposes, so I'll let you know once I've installed!
