Analogman
Who played drums on the Steve Miller song My Dark Hour? This would be Paul McCartney. The Beatles were suppose to do some work in the studio that night - but this was when Ringo, John, and George were trying to get Paul to sing the papers making Allen Klein the man - he refused - and they had a blow up and did not work that night. Steve Miller happened to be at the studio and asked Paul if he wanted to help him out.

cryptique
Here's an extremely obscure one: What lyric snippet (approximately two lines) in the Spoon song "The Guestlist / The Execution" (from the album A Series of Sneaks) is lifted from a song by an earlier band? Can you name that earlier band, and the song? It helps if you know a bit of Spoon trivia, because the other band is related in a rather crucial way.Well, obviously no one cares, but the answer to this is: The Reivers, "Cowboys." John Croslin, the leader of the Reivers, produced Spoon's first few releases (and both bands are from Austin).
