embiggen
ah, the good old days. look at MTV now
dazzler
Does MTV still play videos or do they just program crappy reality tv shows? They do have a nice searchable site. I took a few to watch some of my favorites: Elvis Costello, Madness, The Specials. It's strange to think how important MTV was to my musical development. Shows like 120 Minutes turned me on to so many bands that I otherwise would have NEVER heard on the radio.

EL the Famous
That stream is the reason there was an email chain amongst my high school buddies spanning the past few days over the fact that the song 'Little Susie's on the Up' was not in fact done by TESLA, but a group called PhD. Analogman
It may be shit to you - but for normal americans, it was the shit! Plus, Pat Benatar has better makeup than that cretin from The Cure. Seriously, outside of U2/The Police and some metal bands, I never listened to 80s music.
Reni
The Pretenders......that was good stuff.
