watch me fall
Any college football fans around these parts? I am so excited for next week I can hardly stand it. Only 8 days til our (SC) season opener!!
quarter23cd
Not sure I like the pressure of the preseason #1 ranking, but here we go: Popular opinion suggests that OSU will be an offensive juggernaut this year. I'll believe it when I see it since I've been watching close-to-the-vest, field-goal-you-to-death Tresselball for the past several years--but hey, it appears to be working. If the offense comes through this year as advertised, I'll do naked cartwheels to Columbus and back!

Didn't you see what they did to ND in the bowl game? They're gonna be sick offensively this year. On another note: A. Brian Leonard Q. Who's the best player in the country that no one knows? anodyne
OSU will win it all. as far as smaller schools go, university of akron was surprising, making it all the way to their first bowl game ever last year. a lot of those guys are returning.
cryptique
OSU won't get past Michigan. That's right, I said it. Come November 18, I may regret saying it, but the spooging over the Buckeyes had gotten a little too intense in here.
quarter23cd
Didn't you see what they did to ND in the bowl game? They're gonna be sick offensively this year.I did, and it was impressive. Too bad it took a full season of horrendous offense before they finally clicked. Here's to hoping they come out of the gates blazing this year. The defense is young, but I don't generally worry too much about the D. They reload. What I want to see is if Ginn can step up to be the #1 receiver we need him to be. He's a burner, but we need a go-to guy in clutch situations.(I miss you, Santonio) OSU won't get past Michigan. That's right, I said it.OSU and UM both take immense pride in ruining each other's years. That should be a good one. (its always a good one, but even better when there is a lot on the line)

Did you attend SMU before or after the "death penalty"? Vanderbilt........uhh, I hear its a lovely campus.

quarter23cd
or Penn StateWith the level of expectations on this team right now, frankly, I hope they're not looking past Northern Illinois b/c of having Texas in week 2. I'm serious. One game at a time, fellas.
Atticus
Did you attend SMU before or after the "death penalty"? Vanderbilt........uhh, I hear its a lovely campus. SMU: after. I graduated from Vanderbilt in 1994 and then SMU (law school) in 1997. At Vanderbilt, they've taken care of the football team's performance problems by adding much imbibing to the whole "football game" event. They don't allow alcohol in the stadium by rule, but, well, let's just say that flasks are a big seller around town before the fall. By the third quarter, you're cheering for something (the student body amply made up for the athletic talent), albeit not the home team winning. I am excited to see how Jay Cutler develops though... I was going to say that I don't have much confidence in Lloyd's boys this year, but hell, if cryptique is behind them, so am I. Go Blue!
borracho
I have a feeling my OSU (Oklahoma State) will be lucky to hit .500 this year...

Mr. Tony Margaritatime
I'm just ready to beat South Carolina at South Carolina. Go Dawgs!!!!
OOO
Sure, my team may have just lost 2 heisman winners to the NFL in one season after our bitter defeat to the evil longhorns, but we still get more camera time on the E! network then all the other teams combined!! Also, this is my senior year and we're going to win against that Irish team for the 4th time in a row. This time we won't even do any RB pushing.
MrRain422
Bring back Gary Moeller !!! I'd be totally fine with that. Moeller may be a drunk, but he's a much better coach than Lloyd.

Mr. Tony Margaritatime
Ya'll got a QB yet? Ha! Ha! You know I was directing that at you! It looks like the starter will be the 5th year senior Joe T. that played against Florida last year. I think a lot of freshman will see playing time this year. We're already getting hit with a lot of pre-season injuries, etc.
