mjpuczko
i seriously think i'm more excited to see foos acoustic. i've seen dylan so much over the past nine years & the last two times have been so blah.
WilcoFan
I probably won't go see him unless he is playing a guitar for a majority of the show.
suites
What a shock. Not coming to Florida. You know what, I was thinkg that too. Except Bob is the 1 guy who comes down here. I have seen him at least 15 times over the past 20 years at thte following venues (Hard Rock, Sunrise Musical 3 times at least, UM library courtyard, Chili Pepper, Cameo, James L Knight, Miami Arena, Ft. Lauder Stadium, Bank Atlantic) I am sure I forgot some as well. But safe to say Dylan come down here more then most. It would have been cool if only for the openers. mjpuczko
yeah, he does go to florida quite a bit. i've noticed that
suites
i seriously think i'm more excited to see foos acoustic. i've seen dylan so much over the past nine years & the last two times have been so blah. You are right....he has been fair at best, His band is average nothging great, set list too short, plus he doesnt play the guitar anymore.
MattZ
These are much bigger venues than he has played on the last few tours -- I hope that the extra seats arent filled by folks going to see the opening bands and then leaving when Bob comes on. That would be lame. Last time I saw Dylan at MSG it was 3/4 full (at best) in 2001. I assumed he just didnt have the draw that he used to and that the smaller venues in subsequent tours was an acknowledgment of that. Or maybe since he'll be touring on a new album, there will be more peeps interested. I have said every year since the glory years of 2001 that I am going to take a break next time he comes through. And every tour through NYC I end up there. I just have to go. He's like a magnet.
mjpuczko
i haven't seen him since 2004 i think. it was actually a really good show i thought & he was on keys the whole time. but i've heard live tracks since then & it's made me not go see him when he rolls around. Sir Stewart
By November there should be at least three Modern Times songs in the set. That alone seals it for me.

imsjry
i'm seriously excited for acoustic foo fighters. no offense, but excited and acoustic Foo Fighters in the same sentence just sounds odd. Yes I have heard that cool acoustic Everlong they did, but a whole show by them this way does not interest me in the least, especially when I just want to see Dylan. The crowd mix should be interesting to say the least. Can't wait to hear what the 13 year old girls think of Bobby croaking out Lenny Bruce or Sugar Baby.
mjpuczko
no offense, but eat shit i've been wanting to see acoustic foos for ever. i had some great bootlegs of them doing their older songs acoustic & they were great. plus, i just love dave grohl.
