Tweedling
Theres got to be a site out there where someone has tabbed more than 13 songs. This guy is the shit! Ive been searching for a while now! NO LUCK
jhh4321
I play To Go Home in dropped D. Opens with a fully strummed D chord...and then i play the ascending part like this: e -x- x- x- 3--------------B -3- 5- 7- x--------------G -4- 4- 4- 4-------------D (5)(5)(5)(5)-------------A -x- x- x- x---------------D -5- 5- 5- 5---------------------- Obviously you need to strum it in rhythm but thats the fingerings i use, that 7 on the B may be a bit of a reach with the pinkie so you can play it as 2 on e. The rest of the song is pretty easy. The only chords used are D A and G. Id do it all out but my roomate is sleeping and i cant play anything. Hope what i tabbedmakes sense. jc4prez
huh?
Dec1203
huh?  I take it by the 'huh' response you'd appreciate a basic bare bones version of how you might play it, which would be a little something like this.   (D) Hope it be my mind don't slip(A) Sailing on a sinking ship(G) Into the sunset and (D) back (D) Dark night on a long highway(A) Little lights in the houses say(G) Somebody's staying up (D) late (G) I'll be (A) true to you, oh (D) yeah you know I (G) will(G) I'll be (A) true to you, for (D) ever or un (G) tilI go (D) home (D) God it's great to be alive(A) Takes the skin right off my hideTo (G) think I'll have to give it all up some (D) day And (D) if I ever treated you meanYou (A) know that it was only becauseI'm (G) sorry I couldn't have you for my (D) own  And so on.... hope that helps in some way? As already said above, the whole song is based around (D) (A) and (G) and as M Ward has an understandable love of open D I'm sure that's what he plays it in and the chords above are correct but this way's a touch simpler. kaysettes
I'll work on getting Let's Dance up sometime this week. As a teaser, it's in C#m with a harmonica in E for some strange, theory reason. It sounds good.
