Yes, an entire evening of just Wilco would be a grand thing indeed... :wub

But thats not what we usually get...

Only band I've seen live that didn't have an opening band was Pink Floyd...

But it's all good, whomever opens, well I hope so anyways...

Someone has to get the party started... :thumbup

EARLY DAY MINERS are currently making their way across the eastern U.S (with a few stops in Canada, as well). Their van is full to capacity, with 7 musicians and one self-described "media assassin". Early Day Miners tourdates:

09/11/06 Cambridge, MA - The Middle East w/ Pela

09/13/06 Toronto, ON - Tranzac

09/14/06 Hamilton, ON - Casbah

09/15/06 Dayton, OH - Nite Owl

09/16/06 Bloomington, IN - Hospital

10/04/06 West Lafayette, IN - Elliot Hall Of Music w/ Wilco

10/06/06 East Lansing, MI - MSU Concert Auditorium w/ Wilco

The no opening band concept is a good one from where I'm sitting. Springsteen has been doing it for over thirty years, culminating with regular four hour shows on The River Tour in '80-'81. Could Wilco pull off a four hour show? Hell, could they pull off a three hour show? They'd have to dig a lot deeper in the back catalog for sure.
