tongue-tied
The guy sucks......not the song....... --Robert, true, but it kind of sucks for that guy that his suckiness be captured and immortalized and give reason for Tweedy fans to despise him for as long as there are copies of Sunken Treasure, or for as long as there are Tweedy fans. "Hey, you know that jerk that yells at Jeff 'Blackeye sucks!', that was me!" the "I'm in love!" guy, on the other hand...
Nonlinear Nonfiction
"Hey, you know that jerk that yells at Jeff 'Blackeye sucks!', that was me!" the "I'm in love!" guy, on the other hand... Are you claiming to be THAT GUY? Don't be THAT GUY, please... Dear THAT GUY, Anyone rude enough to yell something like that at a performer while hiding behind a crowd of unanimous people deserves whatever he's got coming to him. No one should pity you because your dumbass was captured on video and distrubited across the globe... Black Eye rules, you deserve one, and if you don't think so, drink poison... ... ... jakobnicholas
I have always prefered Fatal Wound to this song. Ditto. March 16-20, 1992 is one of my favorite all-time discs. Peter Buck, who produced it, says "I'm as proud of it as anything I've done." That says a lot. The album ends with Fatal Wound, Sandusky and Wipe The Clock.....a phenomenal finish to a great album. rockinrob
I'm just going to hope the "Black Eye sucks" guy was attempting to use reverse psychology... Or it was Glenn
caliber66
I'm pretty sure he was unanimous, just like everyone else.

aricandover
I don't mean this in a negative way at all, but it surprises me that we've come to a point where some fans aren't familar with Jeff's Uncle Tupelo material. especially a song as well loved as Black Eye.
