Artifex Posted October 27, 2006 Share Posted October 27, 2006 I was really excited when I heard that wilco was FINALLY coming back to chicago to play some shows. I saw them at the benifit concert at the Auditorium, and tho I was stuck up in the second balcony, I still enjoyed it. So then these two dates came along. I knew I was going to make my bandmates come along. Fact was, I was rubbing off on them and they were actually more excited than I was to see them ( big change from not even being wilco fans less than a year ago). I knew I wasn't going to make any mistakes this year. I was a couple hours late on the presale last year, so this time I was totally on the ball. Got good tickets, Orch. Row Q, beautiful...then the website had an error while it was processing my payment and the tickets were gone. It really pissed me off. Wouldn't been another story if I just wasn't quick enough, but it wasn't even my fault... Not to be deterred, I was on the ball for the ticketmaster presale, and got tickets in the 1st balcony. Not too bad, better than being stuck in the back of the main floor. But then I just got the tickets today and they say 2nd balcony. Row I. Pretty much where I was last time. This one I can probably chalk up to personal error ( or at least to unless I want to go crazy with frustration). I'm sure it's going to sound great, I'm just so bummed that I can't manage to get a decent seat to see Wilco, and that these brand new fans don't get to see them up close like I was hoping.
