solace Posted July 4, 2007 Share Posted July 4, 2007 caught them in St. Paul tonight and i thought it was pretty lame overall... musically there's no denying they've still got it (individually at least), or that Sting's voice still sounds amazing, but the Sting-ification of pretty much every song was too much for me to stomach most of the time. Driven To Tears -> Truth Hits was definitely the highlight for me (not that hard to pick out). They even managed to make me not even really enjoy So Lonely, which is imo, one of the best songs of all time by any band. it seemed like the majority of the crowd loved it, but i'd imagine a large majority of those people who also enjoy Sting's solo work (even the latest stuff) too.
