It looks like I'm paying $4.99 more for the CD and $0.99 more for the LP than if I bought them separately (rather than buying the LP-with-copy-of-CD package). And yikes, those shipping charges ... it was $13 for regular shipping, $16 for "express." I realize that the T-shirt is only $11.04 in this breakdown (and the tote is free), so in the end it probably all evens out ... but if you ask me, this just isn't a smart way to break down pricing at checkout. I was just on the phone with a representative of MusicToday, Bentley was his name. The question I posed to him was this. If you order the LP/Shirt combo, do you still get the CD and is the CD the full blown CD? I could hear him hammering away at the keyboard and then he proceeded to tell me that yes it does in fact come with the LP/Shirt combo. I pointed out that it doesn't say that specifically like it does under the LP offer and also that it doesn't make a lot of sense to even offer the Deluxe offer as the Deluxe offer is 15$ more and only gets you the tote bag. He seemed confused like in a eureka type moment and then said he will check with manager. He comes back and tells me that his manager says every LP pre-ordered in any form comes with the CD. He also said that he doesn't quite understand the pricing structure but insisted that it will come with the CD and that if it doesn't call back and insist on talking to him (Bentley) and he will send the CD for nothing. hmmmm? So what is the point of the deluxe offer?Anyone else have any insight on this? I noticed this too, but I ordered the Deluxe anyway, because I don't like using the phone, and I figured ordering the Deluxe would guarantee I would get both. I wish I could get the same answer from someone. It really does make sense considering the price structure. I am not sure if I should go for the LP/shirt combo and see if this Bentley dude will honor what he said. Problem is I really don't have anything to play the LP on; I am just getting it for the collectors mystic. I really want to listen to the full blown CD to see the difference from the stream.
