PASSWORD: iheartfricke

:)

Actually, the info page said I'll need to set up a username and password when purchasing tickets. I wonder if that's the new way?

Hmm...I saw that too. I do already have a username and password from previous pre-sales. This is confusing...i'll just go with iheartfricke.

Wow, everything at the same time is right! This is going to take some strategizing...

Does that get you to a place where you can set up your account now? I just checked, my username and password for my account is good from the last time, but I'm not sure if there's a specific password for the presales.

This is seriously stressful... Hammerstein is going to sell out in a hot minute, but NJ is assigned seating!

I guess I'll go for NJ. How often do you get the luxury of an assigned seat? And deep in my heart I know I'll be at Hammerstein whatever happens. Still stressful though.

hey, ya'll -- i e-mailed today to ask about the password situation, and now i'm more confused than ever. i said, is there a new password for the pre-sales for these shows, and if so, what is it? if there's not a new password, would you please re-send the old one, as i don't remember what it is?

here was the reply i got:

if you have never bought Wilco presale tix before, simple click 'create new account' and purchanse tickets from there!Sterling

so i sent another e-mail explaining that i had, in fact, bought tickets before, but just wanted to know about the password. sigh. when i log on using my e-mail address, it takes me to the page saying what ya'll had mentioned, that i would have to create a user name and password when buying tickets.

speakers are speaking in code? :dontgetit

at any rate, hope to see everyone on the east coast (and maybe some midwestern gigs, please, guys?)

When you get to that page, go to the top right-hand corner and click on "your account". Then there's a spot for your user name (not your e-mail address) and password. If you do that, then it'll take you back to the "you will need to create a unique username and password during the ticket buying process" page. When you get there, click on "your account" again. This time, it should take you to a specific page for your ticket history, etc. I think when you're at that page, you're actually logged in, and you probably won't have to create another username/password. I don't know that for sure, but that seems to me how it should work.

thanks, gogo -- i have my username and password already, but i didn't know if we needed a super-secret password to actually buy the tickets, like we have in the past. any thoughts?

I think we don't, but that's only because I think they would have sent out an e-mail by now if we did. People seem to be getting hung up on the "create a username and password" thing, but it looks to me like that's all they're talking about, the one you've already got.

JUN-25 NEW YORK, NY HAMMERSTEIN BALLROOM

JUN-28 BOSTON, MA BANK OF AMERICA PAVILION

They take place the ONE week my wife is doing this weeklong training program in CT. I, myself, have found, that I think I'll be going to at least 50% of the shows. But she won't be able to show off the snazzy new Wilco shirt that she got for Christmas at any of the shows.

:( Why does Wilco hate you?

If I meet you in person, I'm going to tell you that story about that one guy.

I was a little confused by the website.... :dontgetit

So the Atlanta Show goes on sale tomorrow same as the Charlotte time? WED April 11th?

Becasue the Atlatna show is the only one without info directly under it. is that because the info under charlotte is for both of them? Becasue when you click on the ticketmaster link it only brings you to the Ovens Auditorium (charlotte) dates.

:ohwell

I'm not sure what's going on with Atlanta tix. I called Chastain and no one there knew anything about a Wilco show, and to top it off, no one had even heard of Wilco! :ohwell ("How do you spell that name?")

Slightly concerned, but hope to find better news today.

The way they have pre-sale info listed, it would appear that Atlanta tickets do NOT go on sale tomorrow. If Atlanta does go on sale tomorrow, they have done a REALLY bad job making the listings clear on the website. At this time, Ticketmaster has no info regarding the Atlanta date.

Me too...Like perhaps a change of venues. Even Masquerade Music Park would be better than Chastain.

I'll be very happy to see them anywhere, but that said getting into and out of Chastain with traffic is alway a bitch :realmad

Thanks for the response i was assuming that the sale was not tomorrow but wanted to make sure.

I can't guarantee I'm right. I'm hoping Atlanta tix don't go on sale for another two weeks, but since I'll be out of town Tues. -Sat. next week I'm sure they'll go on sale then.
