Be still my beating heart! Hammerstein here we come. Why are these things so nerve-wracking!?

One question, does anyone know what the .55 cent "optional charge" was? I was so anxious about making a mistake that I just checked it, but I have no idea what it was for....I figured what's another dollar!

Haha, I did the same thing. Guess we'll find out.

Chastain row 6

I didn't see it the first time, but I went back and it said this:

Help the environment - Offset your CO2 emissions on the way to the show and plant a tree with your ticket purchase!

By donating to the cause, you can help plant trees in countries around the world and in the neediest tropical areas like Honduras, Belize, Senegal, Uganda, India and the Philippines.

When you drive your car to an event, it emits harmful doses of CO2 that pollute our environment and promotes global warming. By helping fund the purchase of renewable energy sources you can offset this pollution. To do so simply check the text box to the right and your credit card will automatically be deducted .55 cents (USD). Proceeds go to Trees for the Future and Native Energy and will be used to plant trees in some of the neediest places in the world, as well as help to purchase renewable energy sources.

To learn more visit www.nativeenergy.com and www.treesftf.org

IMPORTANT: check the box above right if you would like to participate! Thank you!

Thank you for helping the environment with your donation to Trees for the Future and Native Energy! $0.55 USD

It looks like we may finally meet as I'll be in seats 5&6.

The pit at chastain is the very front section where the tables are located on the seating chart on their website. The tables will be removed for Wilco and folding chairs will be set up. They should be great seats. I've had a lot of bad experiences at Chastain over the years, so this is pretty great news for me.

that is awesome! I'll see you there

I got totally dissed by the Count Basie pre-sale and my 2 friends were dissed by the Hammerstein one! We were all signed on right at 10 also. Oh well, Friday morning it is.

But what's with the pre-sale tickets being in rows M and P? I would expect them to be right up front! Do you think closer seats will even go on sale?

Damn, I wasn't expecting Atlanta to go on sale today. Still, I logged on at 10:40 and got 14th row pit.

Keep trying. Tickets often get kicked back into the system for a variety of reasons.

I just checked Indy again and they're still up. Better try again.

I get this message when I try to get Indy tickets:

At this moment there are not enough tickets available to fulfill your request. Please try again using a lower quantity or tickets or choosing a different ticket type.

Currently there are not enough RSVD tickets to fulfill your request.

Same thing I got when I tried right after 10am

I'm such a happy camper... :stunned

ATL i got "PIT - ROW 1 - SEAT 9" (this i can't believe!! i'm kinda speachless...)

and Charlotte i got "ORCHC - ROW D - SEAT 101" (not sure where this seat will be...)

(i kept trying and they kept saying either not enough tixs or rolls at the back and when D came up i took)

I do so hope everyone gets good seats... I've not been in the 'pit' at Chastian before, always seats or lawn...

Does anyone know if the Charlotte show will have PIT seats?

I thought the same thing and was a little unhappy. Then i figured it may be because i got 4 instead of 2. I tried to get another 2 but after the 10 minute wait to place another order, they were gone.

it's only got 1500 seat place. i don't think they have bad seats at the count basie but it's been awhile since i been there.

The Pines is sold out? Jeez, it's GA, didn't think people would be hot to get on that.

I guess I'll just buy through IHEG on Friday.

If anyone is really hard up for money and needs a place to stay, I'll be living in an apartment in Amherst (10 mins from Noho), so just give me a PM.

Got 4 in Row E. Any ideas how the seat numbers run across based on the seating plan?

Great news! As I mentioned in other thread, I got tix for both Atl (pit row 2) and Charlotte (orchcl P).

See you next week.
