bobfrombob
I take it as a given that most of the folks here are naturally attracted to local, independent record stores as opposed to big chains

bobfrombob
It was 24.99 at the mom and pop. I bought it.
Moltisanti
I still can't believe Target doesn't carry Wilco.
gogo
It definitely depends on the indie. Rasputin in the Bay Area has it for $10.99, including the extra two-track promo.
a.miller
I just called my local indie store -- 18.99 with the DVD. Best Buy for 24.99. That makes it an easy choice!! Â edit: I meant for SBS, naturally
yermom
I still can't believe Target doesn't carry Wilco.I was in Walmart today ( )to see someone so I had to pop over to see if they had it. They do ($14.88) but not the special package.
deepseacatfish
I bought SBS at a local indie store, Iowa City has a pair of pretty decent record stores, one with a really awesome knowledgeable jazz dude. I paid $24 for the super-deluxe edition...not a big deal I guess. Most of their other albums are only two dollars or so more than an online store, and hey, the dude is awesome and friendly, so when I'm there and have the cash I'll drop it there. Atticus
I am laughing at myself now as I divulge that I have no idea what I just paid for it at F.Y.E. in a mall (closest thing to my work). I was just so freakin' excited that they had the dvd version after reading earlier here that F.Y.E. wasn't carry same. I want to say it was $21.99?
Oil Can Boyd
At Newbury Comics (in Boston) I got the CD, DVD, and two song single for $17.99.
quarter23cd
I don't think I've set foot inside an actual indie/mom-and-pop record store since college--mainly due to not having many around. Where I used to live, the only brick-and-mortar store around with a decent selection was Borders. And where I live now, the only indie stores I'm aware of are in an area of town I rarely get to. So I guess I tend to end up at a big box (although more frequently just order online), but its more about convenience than price.
Tweedling
I bought the regular cd for 14.99 and realized later.....no DVD!I went to a different store and bought the delux w DVD for 21.99.....It's good to know my wife loves Wilco almost as much as I do! Oh...Best Buy and then Hastings
