tft3323
I'll go with 1/29/07 at the Tabernacle in Atlanta. After seeing him in New Orleans three days before, my wife and I changed our plans, got my parents to keep the kids, and went to this show on a last minute whim (thanks to StubHub.) Great venue, great crowd, great setlist, and Mr. Tweedy was in top form. Incidentally, if anyone knows of or has a recording of this show, I would love to have it! Thanks. candyfloss1214
January 4, 2000. I think that this was his last solo show at Lounge Ax. It was my favorite before the March 4-5, 2005 shows at the Vic, but I was at both of those, so I'm biased.
Edie
Wow, and to think that you heard Can't Stand It at 2 of those shows! I am such a nutcase! Next "cause" I am taking up is Hotel Arizona....

mpolak21
My all-time favorite is the 5/16/2003 show from Martyr's in Chicago. --Mike
Nobody Girl
3/4/05 Probably my favorite show I've ever been too.
bird jam
This thread sort of reminds me of threads you see at Synergy (Pearl Jam's message board) frequently, where people pretty much just name the shows they have been to.
Mr. Heartbreak
Not me. I've never been to a solo Tweedy show. Have to agree with pneyu, though, Lounge Ax shows were great ones. Oh, to elaborate on my picks a little: 3/26/98 - 1st One By One, 1st A Fool Such As I, 1st I Wish My Baby Was Born, 1st I'm Into Something Good, 1st Ingrid Bergman, 2nd Shot In The Arm 10/19/99 - 1st Ashes of American Flags, 1st Heavy Metal Drummer, Last A Fool Such As I
W.S. McTier
6-14-99 at lunge axhe played pecan pie and all the same to me, black eye, forget the flowers as well as covers of ripple, dreaming, and thirteen.
pnêyu
Regrettably, I never made it to Lounge Ax either, but that doesn't take away from my enjoyment of those solo shows. The moral of this thread seems to be: See Jeff solo if you possibly can.
