Your company has an iTunes network?

People have been fired here for sharing music. :hmm

You need to go work somewhere that does not treat you like a slave or a tool or a slacker, but treats you as a man who likes music.

Pink Floyd is boring enough when not stoned. When I am (not that I'm admitting to anything), that shit puts me right to sleep.
:no

Piper At The Gates of Dawn should cure that. Especially Astronomy Domine, Lucifer Sam, and Interstellar Overdrive.

I haven't touched the stuff in almost 20 years, but my memory is still surprisingly good!

For fuck's sake, you people. The answer is Jimi Hendrix, Electric Ladyland. Sir Stewart was all on about it earlier today. What, your dope-addled brains can't remember that far back?

Culture is too saturated with Hendrix for him to be very enjoyable while stoned anymore. It's not that the music isn't fine for it, it's just that, when you hear that music everywhere, then it just isn't that cool to hear when you're stoned anymore.

Well, Electric Ladyland is chock full of tunes that haven't been overexposed.

Yup. Maybe "All Along the Watchtower" gets played a little too often, but the rest of that album is largely unknown to the general public. "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)," which is the only other song on the record that gets any significant airplay, certainly hasn't been worn into the ground through excessive use.

I stand by my original statement ;)

My patients say they like to do their inhaler treatments (from smoking damage) of Albuterol to some Benny Goodman. That toe tappin' music makes the treatments go by faster. One guy said Miles Davis is what he inhales his nebulizer of Albuterol to.

A lot of these artists have several that are good for this particularly activity, but I'm just gonna limit it to one per, for the sake of not making this list any longer than it already it is:

Amon Tobin - Foley Room

The Arcade Fire - Funeral

The Avalanches - Since I Left You

Glenn Branca - The Ascension

Neko Case - Blacklisted

The Clash - Sandinista!

Ornette Coleman - The Shape of Jazz to Come

John Coltrane - A Love Supreme

Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me

John Frusciante - Shadows Collide With People

Fugazi - The Argument

Godspeed You Black Emperor! - Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven

The Gris Gris - For the Season

Hum - You'd Prefer an Astronaut

You're high right now, aren't you.

If I was, I probably wouldn't have been able to come up with that many, as my mind would have wandered to other things.

Looking back over the list though, it sure makes me look forward to getting home from work later on.

Pink Floyd

It's just SO cliche to listen to them during this certain activity you speak of. So now they just bug.

Eh, whatevs. It still works for me.
