His first album was alright, but he hasn't dont anything of worth since then. Kanye's released 2 bonafied classics, and the few songs I've heard from Graduation are sounding pretty good too. HighFives
his new tracks on the re-up album are so dope.
tapmyglass
neither of these guys interest me very much, but 50 cent makes bland gangster rap, while Kanye makes at least some musically interesting pop rap. I'll take Kanye anyday
napoleon
i'm just sayin'...

G_willy
I guess I might be purchasing my first Kanye West album
LouieB
because art is a contest. It apparently isn't much of a contest sadly, since Fity usually way outsells Kayne. In any event this isn't about art, it is purely commerce....LouieB
HighFives
pretty sure its a scheme for both of them to sale more records. 50 is a much more populare name. he'll outsell him for sure.
bobbob1313
Except every single Single 50's released for this record has fallen pretty flat, whereas Kanye's got a bonafide hit, and another single that's getting pretty good play on MTV. Not to mention "Bittersweet" hasn't been released yet, and you just know that songs going to blow up. I think it'll be close.
HighFives
yeah but 50 has Justin Timberlake on his single so that alone will get JT fans interested in this release. I think it will be closer than previous releases by the two but 50'll win.
jhh4321
ill be buying the kanye album...if not for Stronger and its super cool album art work
EL the Famous
Holy shit. I heard that Takashi Murakami did the artwork for this, but hadn't seen it yet. Fucking cool. Man, Kanye is really taking some Asian influences into his work...that video for 'Stronger' is straight up out of 'Akira'.
oatmealblizzard
Is that really the cover? If so ... I think its pretty cool. My guess is many others in the populace will disagree, though.
EL the Famous
I've never been that hardcore over Kanye and think he's kind of overhyped, but I do respect the fact he does not march to the same cookie-cutter drummer that most of his contemporaries do. He earns points for being a huge Murakami fan (via his work w/ Luis Vuitton), an interesting article on that relationship and more in the most recent issue of complex magazine. Seriously, Murakami's stuff is crazy sick...
WilcoFan
I'm looking forward to the day when 50 cent and Kanye retire.
