Lammycat
fellow Okie, Matt Holliday... MVP! dudez got mad skillz...There was a piece on him recently in the local paper where they ask a handful of goofy questions. The one where they asked him what tunes he likes to listen to before games he responded that he doesn't listen to music. Of course, whatever works for you but I found it odd that he doesn't listen to "music" in the general sense.
MrRain422
I'm pretty sure all the NL teams will be mathematically eliminated before the world series. Yeah, I think I said the same thing last year. Whoops.
ZenLunatic
CUBS FOR WORLD CHAMPION IN 2007!!! I predict a CUBS vs. RED SOX and CUBS in 7. This is my dream. Then Wilco would play in the Cubs ticker tape parade and the celebration would last forever. End this 99 year drought and freeze hell over. Give America what it wants. Go CUBS!!! 11 wins left Where would be without wishful thinking.

Lammycat
I'd love to see a COL/BOS WS. I think the reasons are obvious enough.

Guest Jules
is there HD coverage of the games? My understanding was no, since TBS does not have an HD channel. But then I saw this today, so maybe so. Link Edit: Looks like this article only refers to Boston area and some other city-specific areas. Not sure about other regions, specifically Chicago. Obviously, the Fox games will be in HD.

I decided to call Comcast. They are launching TBS HD (Channel 219) in Chicagoland on Wednesday 10/3, in time for the games. Good news. I'm guessing they will do likewise nationwide. ZenLunatic
I cannot believe they are not locally or nationally televising the CUBS games here. They seem to be on TBS or TNT only for these divisional playoffs. WTF??? Whats up with that? Dont they think Chicago fans would be interested in the most popular event of the Cubs in 4 years? Where is WGN or FOX Chicago on this? WCIU??? Someone? This better change once we get to the NL Champion games.

Duck-Billed Catechist
My guess is that all playoff games will be available here:http://www.myp2p.eu/MLB.htm Although they haven't updated the listings yet. Programs like Sopcast and TVants are very easy to use.

Don't expect it to happen two years in a row.

cryptique
I would just like to dispute that that is what "America wants".I like the Cubs, but I'll dispute this too. On the other hand, if the Cubs finally end the drought, maybe some of the "lovable loser" mystique will finally wear off, and Cub fans will become less obnoxious. Maybe, but not likely.
