Sir Stewart
Check it out at the iTunes Store - my friend told me about it - it's on the front page. Natalie Portman! Haven't watched yet.

boywiththorninside
Thank you. This is supposed to be a prelude to The Darjeeling Limited. I wanted to see it before I saw the movie.
tongue-tied
a thousand thanks for pointing this out.
Sir Stewart
I fear to sully this thread (and crash iTunes' homepage), but N. Portman takes off her clothing in this.
Mr. Kinsley
Looks like naptime comes a bit early today for the twins!* *For those not in the know, that's not a euphamism. I really have twins.
tongue-tied
Portman, nude and in slow motion. Also, Meg White is there.
Marijn
Can anyone please upload this? It's not available in the Dutch iTunes Store
Mr. Kinsley
So, how do I get a still of the shot that's 7:42 in? (No, it's not the nude stuff.) That needs to be my new avatar.
Good Old Neon
I read the title to this thread a bit too quickly resulting in me thinking Wes Anderson had been shot. You can imagine my dismay, short lived though it was.
So Long
CURSE YOU CLEVER FILMING TO AVOID FULL NUDITY! Great little film though.
tongue-tied
I actually found the nude stuff less surprising than that there was an iPod rather than some old fashioned record player or gramaphone. Real modern day technology there.
Mr. Kinsley
CURSE YOU CLEVER FILMING TO AVOID FULL NUDITY! Great little film though. That was an awkward pose she got into there to hide "the goods." I found the obviousness of her tilting her body to be slightly distracting. Other than that it was quite good. boywiththorninside
On a somewhat related note, New York Magazine has Wes Anderson, Noah Baumbach, and the Coen Bros on this week's cover. Here's a link to the Wes article: Wes Anderson - NY Magazine

Gobias Industries
Slow roller like all of Anderson's stuff, but good nonetheless. edit: man, it's so wide i only get like 1/2 of it when i watch it on my ipod.

Sir Stewart
I watched it this morning - wonderful. Love that room. Love the way Schwartzman discards the chocolate wrapper. The bruises are disturbing. Love the toothpick.
mkush001
dear lord natalie is unbelievably gorgeous wearing that jean seberg 'a bout de souffle' haircut and nothing else.
owl
But why does her voice sound like Lunch Lady Doris'?
explodo
dear lord natalie is unbelievably gorgeous wearing that jean seberg 'a bout de souffle' haircut and nothing else.Too thin. She looked like some sort of alien creature thanks to both her being so thin, as I mentioned, and that extremely awkward pose, which somebody else already mentioned. That said, I wouldn't kick her out of bed.
