ZenLunatic
The Cubs lost two on the road. Discouraging, but the series isn't over. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic, but I still see this series going five games. Hill is a better pitcher than Hernandez, and I think the Cubs will take game 3. I'm not quite as optimistic about game 4, but if they win tomorrow who knows? A 2-0 deficit in a five-game series is scary, but not insurmountable. If they can get it to game 5, anything can happen. YES! Exactly. Sending winning energy into the air. Hill is good. Now at home. we will win.
Edie
At least we won our division and weren't 3 games out of last place/24 out of first. At least we have won a World Series in 99 years. Actually, two.

EL the Famous
At least we have won a World Series in 99 years. Actually, two.only to become a no-show in the playoffs the year after and an even more stellar performance this season. consistent. yes, Edie was one hell of a vocal sox fan...when they were winning. That's English Pinella speaks?
Lammycat
yes, Edie was one hell of a vocal sox fan...when they were winning. No dig at Edie here at all, but it's funny watching all the folks come out of the woodwork and supporting the Rockies now that they're something. The papers are loaded with "Rockies discounts," the airwaves and television waves are gushing, etc. This is all fine and I'd expect nothing less as it is a big deal, but it's slightly comical too that a lot of the folks have/had no idea who was even on the team save for Todd Helton two weeks ago. I really couldnt believe how the WSox just fell apart like that but enjoyed it. At least WSox can get a good draft pick. I enjoy heckling WSox fans now cause I couldnt say much when they were good. But also because its a long time tradition between me and my WSox friends.
