trayanastasio
Just wondering, since that one show at the hammerstein was not enough for me. Also, this is my first post on here.
WaronWar
From what I've heard via the message Wilcoworld sent out (I believe it was through that medium but I could be wrong) that they will tour next year, but not as much as this past year. But I'm sure someone will clarify better. So basically keep checking their shows on their website or viachicago.
Edie
Just wondering, since that one show at the hammerstein was not enough for me. Also, this is my first post on here. Welcome. Hopefully they will announce something soon.
giraffo
Welcome. Hopefully they will announce something soon. I am really hoping for a Pines show in the summer as well as some college shows as they mentioned in the letter. I'm in Providence, RI, now and that means that like 4 other colleges are at least within a half hour, and then if Boston is played that's like 20+ colleges within an hour. I'm really hoping though for The Pines, since they've played there 2 years in a row and there isn't a better venue.
IrishMickyWard
probably a short Feb run in warm states - before heading 'down under'
wilcogirl
Yeay! Ohio is warm in February! (crosses fingers behind back) LOL. I'm still hoping for a Cleveland show....sigh...
RaspberryJam
I'll second that vote for The Pines! No better outdoor venue on the east coast. I'll see bands I don't even like there.
So Long
My guess is that they'll do some "arena" shows in the winter, colleges, etc. And then this summer...let's hope for Pines.

a_quiet_domino
Forgive me if this has been posted in another thread, but is there any speculation as to what the band in doing during the touring hiatus (new recording, solo projects, etc)?
Gobias Industries
Forgive me if this has been posted in another thread, but is there any speculation as to what the band in doing during the touring hiatus (new recording, solo projects, etc)? I'm pretty sure it's just chilling. But for them chilling may be doing solo projects, so....
skip
I'm hoping that with the lay off from touring (i.e., no shows until mid-march) that they'll record some new material for the next album. I recall reading somewhere that the next record wouldn't be far away.
jff
Forgive me if this has been posted in another thread, but is there any speculation as to what the band in doing during the touring hiatus (new recording, solo projects, etc)? Nels is going to record an album with Mike Watt (and probably work on some other recording projects) sometime very soon.
aricandover
Nels is going to record an album with Mike Watt sometime very soon. supposed to be this month, with Bob Lee! I hope this gets an early '08 release and tour. EDIT: from Watt's website I am recording a new black gang album w/nels cline and bob lee before my fiftieth birtday (this december twentieth, two days before the solstice). InGlenntion did an interview with Nels Cline on University of Iowa's radio station (he posted it on here a while back) and I believe Nels said in the interview that Wilco is getting together in January to jam and demo for a little bit. DAngerer09
I hope Jeff does some solo shows. I have yet to see him solo, but from all the live recordings I have, it seems like it would be awesome.
