bjorn_skurj
Whoa ... seriously? They gave Eli the MVP? That's a crock of shit. Two fourth-quarter TD drives are nothing but a crock of goodness, but if it were up to me, I would have given the MVP to the entire defensive line. Spawn's dad
I'm happy for the Giants, but their win, in the end, really does not amount to all that much. you've got to be kidding
OOO
I’m happy for the Giants, but their win, in the end, really does not amount to all that much. I think you are confused. It is the Patriot's wins that now do not amount to much. edit: I'm glad we picked out the same quote, gary

El Picador
I just wish it was The Packers, my other all time favorite team, celebrating this morning, and not the otherwise mediocre Giants. Oh well. The mediocre Giants beat the overrated Patriots?

OOO
jesus, talk about a sore loser. how will it go down in history? as a life long giants fan I got to watch my team find a way to hang in thereall season and then with the chips on the line finally gel and play to their absolute utmost ability. We got to see a quarterback finally playup to his ability and shake free the shadows of his father and brother. I get to cherish a victory with my son the way my late father got to cherish with me and my brother our past championships. the giants won, what was billed as unwinable, as huge underdogs, what wasarguably the greatest superbowl game ever. history. You forgot that it had the greatest superbowl PLAY ever as well.

Word. There was a great moment shown on FOX right after the end of the game, before the trophy presentation, where they're just catching player reactions... and they cut to Jeff Feagles and his wife. Wife asks, "....what do we do now," and Feagles replys, with an awestruck smile, "Just take it all in." One of those perfect, human moments that is easily lost in the shuffle. Glad we got to peek in on it.
Good Old Neon
Overrated how? They had a near perfect, historic season, with the exception of one game. Ali had a couple of losses, does that diminish his accomplishments? My point

Sir Stewart
Other teams will win the Super Bowl, every year, until we no longer play the game, guaranteed, however, there is no guarantee that another team will ever achieve another 18-0, perfect regular season record, a 19-0 season would have been all the sweeter and that much more historic.Which serves in making the point that the Giants' win was just as historic as a Patriots win would have been. EDIT: Alright, almost as historic.
