Solace, are you doing any volunteer work for the campaign?

If anyone's interested, since there seems to be plenty of support around here, just go here on his website and sign up. There's plenty of opportunities to help out that require little effort on your part. Making phone calls can be done from home and it's super easy. I went to a phone bank the other day and it was rather fun actually.

so... last week i'd heard rumblings that they were trying to get Wilco to play this... apparently it didn't work out with the full band's schedule

but Golden Smog (WITH Tweedy) are now playing a 45 minute set before Barack goes on :rock

Golden Smog's set list:

1: Looking Forward to Seeing You

2: Glad & Sorry

3. To Call My Own

4. Love and Mercy (Brian Wilson cover)

5. Beautiful Mind

6. Until You Came Along

Short, but sweet. At one time the crowd started the wave and Gary said "Well there is a first!" When Obama came out he thanked "The Golden Smog" and his friend Jeff Tweedy.

Barack is a very inspirational speaker. I highly suggest seeing him live if you get the chance. His speaches are great on TV and radio, but it doesn't compare to watching it live.
