solace
Anybody headed to their show with Yeasayer @ Schubas tonight? i saw them last night in Minneapolis... they were certainly more enjoyable than when they opened for Of Montreal @ First Ave in October (i had not heard of them at that point, and they were annoying), but last night, while they were the reason the show was sold out and that it had so much local buzz, they are merely an average live band at this point in my book. the live show was just as hit or miss as the record, including the horrendous cover of Zep's "The Ocean". now Yeasayer on the other hand... HOLY FUCKING SHIT. their record from last year was GOOD, but they totally destroyed live. took me by surprise actually.
jimmyjimmy
Damn, I am loving this in a big way.

Have to admit their record didn't quite do it for me, but now I do wanna see them live.

Have to admit their record didn't quite do it for me, but now I do wanna see them live. yeah... no guarantees you'll love their live show as much as i did, but if you at least enjoyed their album somewhat, or were at the very least intrigued/interested by it, i think you will at least like their live show. they are very very unique (and not in a "oh we're so weird/original" way). foolnrain97
Just listened to Aa-gAame and Alcest's release from last year. Both were pretty sweet. The bombastic quality of Aa is really, quite something. Anyone seen them live?
