mjpuczko
i'm debating about the pre sale. thought my girlfriend is buying the tix. up to her i guess
NightOfJoy
NPR said this morning that Marketa is 19. So she was 17 in that film? I thought she appeared much older in the film. Btw, I'm perfectly comfortable declaring in public that I loved this flick. The beauty of it almost brought me to tears a few times while watching it.
mjpuczko
why wouldn't you be? it's a great movie.
NightOfJoy
Other than professing publicly my undying love and devotion to my wife (who rocks!), I usually dont do that sort of thing.

explodo
Well, one other thing, I would totally "do" Marketa. I would also do this. And probably that girl from Juno for good measure.

Tweedy's Gurl
i'm thinking of getting tickets for the pageant, but i'm not sure if my finals schedule will intrude on those plans. and anyway, i liked them better when nobody knew who they were.
tugmoose
and anyway, i liked them better when nobody knew who they were. Really. They are so last Monday. How soon before they're pimping Volvos and appearing on Mad TV? SELLOUTS!!!
Calexico
I would also do this. And probably that girl from Juno for good measure. Plus, she is totally knocked up so you would be safe as houses to go bareback.
Twisted Acres
Got tickets for the 5/19 Radio City show today. My wife has had this cd in her car player since like September. I think the tix will be a nice anniversary gift for her.
solace
i can't believe they are playing Radio City... that's just insane
Twisted Acres
They are, apparently, in shock... a friend of mine opens for the Frames quite often and he says they really are as stunned by this as they seemed at the Oscars.
mjpuczko
gal & i got tix today for the mpls show in may. early b-day present for me! woohoo.
solace
as much as i love that Glen is finally becoming known in America, the fact that this will push a new Frames record and tour off for like a year to 18 months at the least, that really really bums me out
jimtweedy1977
wow, this is going to be a busy concert season this spring; i might try to catch them at Toad's Place in Richmond. possibly Widepread, Merlefest, Avett Brothers, Radiohead all within a three week span. but it comes down to an issue of money more than anything. Sir Stewart
I gotta catch up with The Frames.
Preferred B
Fourth row for Madison. Yay!
solace
Fourth row for Madison. Yay! nice work!! went to the box office here in Mpls at just before 8 this morning (onsale was at 11), the unfortunate thing was they usually go onsale at the State Theater box, whose lobby is open all the time, but today they used the Oprheum Box Office (luckily just one block south), bad thing was their lobby didn't open until a little after 10 . oh well, once the sun came out it wasn't too too cold, and we scored 2nd row pit AND saved $14 per ticket
solace
well this is cool... from the Pitchfork interview with Glen & Mar, Glen states that the Frames will be backing Glen & Marketa on their US tour would be awesome if they bust out some other Frames songs then!! gogo
They backed them up for a portion of the show here last November. I was quite pleased to see them.
