solace Posted March 21, 2008 Share Posted March 21, 2008 Highly recommended... i saw him at the NPR showcase at the Parish, pretty good. so weird to see Scott do something so completely polar opposite of Verbena. but it's pretty good, even if it seems a bit like a Dylan/Woody Guthrie-esque imitation. Synthesizer Patel Posted March 21, 2008 Share Posted March 21, 2008 i've had a quick skip through the raconteurs new one, and it's pretty rubbish. it's got all the things i didn't like about the last white stripes album. i think jack white done shot his wad. has he forgotten how to write counter melodies? does everything have to follow the guitar line always? these are some of the questions i'll be asking jack in my head at 8.00pm this evening: channel 7 - don't miss it.
