Song featuring punctuation

Recommended Posts

i could use a little clarification. does the punctuation have to be sung, or just in the title? because i know these two titles

what if a band member is punctuation??

My take (on my own post) is the actual use of punctuation as a key to they lyrics in the song:

I love you period

Do you love me question mark

Please please exclaimation point

I wanna hold you in parenthesis

I should have known dot dot dot

Turn! Turn! Turn!- The Byrds

Why?- Andrew Bird

Was it You?- Spoon

11:11- Andrew Bird

And to illustrate the point of the poster who mentioned Sufjan, this song (and album title) is LOADED with punctuation:

One Last "Woo-hoo!" for the Pullman- Sufjan Stevens, from his album Come On! Feel the Illinoise!

Apologies, but the first one that comes to my mind is:

"And To Think..."

also:

"Look! No Strings!" - Chumbawumba

"Can You Picture That?" - Dr. Teeth & The electric Mayhem

I don't think anyone gets the rules of the game.

shut up Michael.

I hope your blues show is going stupid and that you forgot to tune down to Eb so you have to play Third Stone from the Sun for 20 minutes in the wrong key

I also hope you get Bruce tickets tomorrow :thumbup
