Guys - I came to this thread to read about cheap beer. Please don't fuck it up further.

Also, I agree with El Kev that the new McDonalds chikn sandwich is damn fine and comparable to chikafile'.

Warm Regards.

For purposes of this thread, cheap will be defined as follows: If you can get at least two dollar bills back in change when you use a $10 bill to buy a 12-pack. If your state has a bottle deposit law, do not neglect to factor that in to your calculations.

When I did drink cheap beer (i.e., briefly during college), it didn't get any cheaper than Dubuque Star.

the former Dubuque star brewery is now a resturant/ ultralounge.

Do you still have Bud Dry out there? I drank one the morning of the first day of my senior year of high school, but haven't seen it around here in years.

I saw it about a year ago over in Arkansas. I'll look next time I'm over there.

I like Old Style, and it's only $13 a 30 pack.

Ha! Leave it to a thread on cheap beer to lure you out of hiding. :lol

(I agree with the Old Style :thumbup )

ND: Miller Lite in a can

Miller Lite > Bud Light

I'll say that much without any doubt.

Years ago, one of our firends used to bring NO NAME beer to the 4th cookouts, and we would all give him a bunch o hard times about it until all the rest of the beer was gone, and then we drank it.

I get the feeling this is a north/south thing. Maybe?

They're both equally popular here I think. Indiana is known as "The Alabama of the North" you know. :D
