Sir Stewart
Comment is the only one they performed with any regularity, unless I'm mistaken. And I don't really miss it.

nodep5
I'm not a Comment fan either. Disappointed when I saw it was on KT. Best Wilco cover i've experienced in Concert was Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow. The Being There Tour covers were nice.
lost highway
"Something In the Air" live at Redrocks. That's a good feeling.
jakobnicholas
I think all bands should play AT LEAST one cover every show.   It's a way for a band to pay tribute to another band/song they like, and gives the fans something different than what they can hear on the albums.   I remember seeing JP and the Wilcos rip into Immigrant Song a couple times back in the Being There days.....was AWESOME. nodep5
I second that, and it gives bands the chance to show off their record collection cred! Hey I just played Mott The Hoople and none of you guys out there even know it.
Lammycat
I remember seeing JP and the Wilcos rip into Immigrant Song a couple times back in the Being There days.....was AWESOME.I always got a kick out of JP's shtick. "Ziggy Stardust," Paranoid," etc.

I love it when a band busts out a random cover. One reason to hate dave matthew's fans ive found is (for the most part) they seem to hate when dmb plays covers. Why? negative nancies i say. Your so disappointed you won't even bring up Hey Jude is a Beatle's song

Also, jeff singing Cock in my pocket was great. the last cover they played was I shall be released, wasnt it?
Guest Hollinger.
Dave played Sledgehammer in Omaha a couple weeks ago and it was awesome.

theashtraysays
At the Indy show, someone made a remark (and Jeff mentioned it from the stage) that they ought to play Comment and that would get rid of all the gnats that were swarming all around. Or something like that. Jeff didn't seem amused.

Anyways, Pearl Jam covered this a couple times this tour and blew away any version that Dave Mathews does.

PigSooie
At the Dave Matthews concert last weekend, they covered "Burning Down the House" and it kicked ass.
The High Heat
For a stretch they were doing "Be not so Fearful."I'm sure none of us would have ever heard of this song if Jeff wasn't into the obscurities.
