He is a very funny and interesting guy. :worship They seem like a fun family!I like the blog where he gets a bit upset over some comments on VC. Something about JT selling out or something. I think he even quoted someone on VC.

Um, it just dawned on me: This is the first time that I can think of where we have actual physical evidence of Nels singing!

That was the first thing that crossed my mind too.

where did Pat go?

well when I was talking to Pat outside the Florida Theater last week (see the other thread, it was sooo freakin' cool to meet the band!!!!) he said that he thought the band was just invited to the game, like someone had gotten them tickets. He didnt realize that they were invited to the game, i.e. Tweedy throwing the opening pitch and all.

No, I think Vancouver would be more suitable for the winter than the summer games. It gets kind of cold up there :lol

Our climate is very similar to Seattle. The ocean cools us in the summer and warms us in the winter. Fortunately, the city is at the base of the mountains, so we can enjoy the snow on the slopes (and the views), but don't have to shovel our driveways very often. I think most (all?) of the alpine events will take place in Whistler, which is a 2 hour drive from Vancouver.

Yeah it looks pretty green. I'd love to visit some time.
