Guest Hollinger.
Wow, that's insane. Last I had heard, his recovery was going ok. What horrible horrible news.

jakobnicholas
I think Dave Matthews sucks, but this news sucks 100 times worse. What a bummer.
Vacant Horizon
very sad and tragic. crazy news. the article reported that DMB played the night he died. i am amazed bands can do this. i wouldn't be able to move after someone that close to me died.
PigSooie
Thanks for many memories. You'll be missed, Roi.

John Smith
Though I wouldn't know a Dave Mathews song if he were sitting here playing it to me himself, I do feel bad for Leroi and his family.
Gobias Industries
RIP bud, you were pretty sweet.
quarter23cd
I'm not sure I have much to add to this thread, but this is a bummer. I used to see the DMB pretty frequently when they were just starting out and touring the mid-Atlantic area. I never dreamed they would actually hit the big time the way they did, but they were clearly talented guys (and Leroi was a big part of what I liked about them) so I talked them up a lot to everybody I knew. You'll be missed, Leroi.
wheelco
Bye bye Leroi - you were a fantastic musician, we'll miss you. DMB used to be one of my favorites about 10 yrs ago
