Owning both this and the Charlie Parker CD made me want to learn more about Massey Hall. Looks like a pretty cool venue.

It's a very very cool place. We always used to go to the Silver Rail across the street (not to be confused with a the Brass Rail strip joint farther on up Yonge). That was supposedly one of the places Parker went, either in search of drugs or a plastic sax. It was this deco bar with worn leather black couches and oval mirrors with bartenders in uniform. It was actually the first non-hotel liquor serving place in Ontario.

Massey Hall acoustics are perfect and there no bad sightlines anywhere

It's also great for a stage rush. You can run from the back to the front really quickly. Not that I did that for either REM or Tom Waits or anything,,,,no not me.

Well if you liked that one PopTodd, you'll probably dig what I'm playing now too :).

I'd call it eclectic: Brazilian Pop with touches of Bossa nova and Tropicalia. It ranges from acoustic songs, to rhythmic latin grooves with electric guitar. Beautiful stuff!
