RainDogToo
LATE NIGHT WITH JIMMY FALLON, NBC Mo 3/2: Robert DeNiro, Van Morrison
Winston Legthigh
I was thinking - this is a pretty powerful song: And I will stroll the merry way and jump the hedges first, and I will drink the clear, clean water for to quench my thirst. And I shall watch the ferry-boats and they'll get high on a bluer ocean against tomorrow's sky.And I will never grow so old again. And I will walk and talk in gardens all wet with rain.Oh, sweet thing, sweet thing. My, my, my, my, my sweet thing. And I shall drive my chariot down your streets and cry-'Hey, it's me, I'm dynamite and I don't know why.'And you shall take me strongly in your arms againand I will not remember that I even felt the pain.We shall walk and talk in gardens all misty and wet with rainand I will never, never, never grow so old again.Oh sweet thing, sweet thing. My, my, my, my, my sweet thing. And I will raise my hand up into the nighttime sky and count the stars that's shining in your eye.Just to dig it all and not to wonder, that's just fineand I'll be satisfied not to read in between the lines. And I will walk and talk in gardens all wet, all misty wet with rainand I will never, ever, ever, ever grow so old again.Oh sweet thing, sweet thing. Sugar baby.Sugar-baby with your champagne eyes and your saint-like smile. The Waterboys do a splendid rendition on Fisherman's Blues.
imsjry
The hipster, edgy folks over at Pitchfork gave the new live album a 4.something-or-other. I mean really!

Glad I didn't. It will show up used someday soon I am sure. LouieB
hardwood floor
The Waterboys do a splendid rendition on Fisherman's Blues. yep & what a fantastic record it is i don't know where that "review" is from, but curious what ticket prices were not surprised the place was half empty. people are tired of overpaying for half-assed van morrison shows. Serak_the_Preparer
Sweet Thing - Live at the Hollywood Bowl(Pro-shot Youtube link) That band is great - I don't know if I would say the same for him though. Thanks! I thought the whole thing was pretty kick-ass. I think Van still sounds great after all these years. I only wish I could have seen him sing this live - I got to see him a year or two back and was not impressed with the set list.
W(TF)
I happened to read this in a waiting room yesterday. Time Magazine - 10 Questions. (Van Morrison)http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/...1882001,00.html Van's last comment is quite telling.
Analogman
There's a question on there from someone in Hurricane, far out. He is very against any of his shows being put up on BT sites, I do know that.
