Preferred B
Honest John and Gideon once more manage to lead Pinocchio astray by convincing him to go to Pleasure Island. On his way he befriends Lampwick, a misbehaved and destructive boy who convinces Pinocchio to act like he and the other boys on Pleasure Island do. Pinocchio enjoys gambling, smoking, getting drunk and destroying Pleasure Island much to Jiminy's dismay. However Jiminy discovers that the island has the power to turn boys who "make jackasses of themselves" into literal donkeys. These boys are then sold to work in the local salt mines.Oh my God! Bad memories flooding back!

NightOfJoy
Some of my favorites didn't make the list: The Point - Fred Wolf Interesting backstory to that one.....Harry Nillson (I think...) was on an acid trip and came to the mighty conclusion that everything has a point......so he had this film made. Didnt Ringo Starr narrate it? Available on Netflix. Not earth shattering but its an ok film for a sleepy Saturday afternoon.
OOO
Interesting backstory to that one.....Harry Nillson (I think...) was on an acid trip and came to the mighty conclusion that everything has a point......so he had this film made. Didnt Ringo Starr narrate it? Available on Netflix. Not earth shattering but its an ok film for a sleepy Saturday afternoon. Ringo or Dustin Hoffman, depending on your copy of it, I think. I liked Wall-E a lot, for the record, but father-son stories really pull my heartstrings, so Finding Nemo gets my nod.
bobbob1313
South Park should be higher.
markosis
My .02: -No 'Sword In The Stone'? For shame, that movie was incredible. -All this CGI-based crap can suck it. I want hand drawn or nothing. -This movie star/celebrity voice-over craze=shite.
Winston Legthigh
I want the complete Tex Avery collection. OK - so they're not movies, but they're the best and funniest cartoons ever made. Dumbo is the first movie my ma ever took me to. IMHO, the pink elephant segment is the best Disney bit ever, outside of Fantasia.
alison the wilca
I would like to have seen The Brave Little Toaster included instead of Chicken Run.
austrya
I would like to have seen The Brave Little Toaster included instead of Chicken Run. Oh crap, I forgot about The Brave Little Toaster. That's def in my top 10. My oldest son used to watch that movie about 3 times a day for a while when he was little. I love that movie.

sureshot
Have you seen Shrek? It's pretty awesome. Yes, I saw it. I thought it was pretty bad. I honestly can not stand anything that comes out of Dreamworks...they represent everything thats wrong with modern animated movies IMO.
John Smith
-No 'Sword In The Stone'? For shame, that movie was incredible. -All this CGI-based crap can suck it. I want hand drawn or nothing. Love Sword in the Stone - The once and future king is a agreat book which features the SITS as the first of it's stories. Hand drawn of nothing? You get nothing then! Sir Stewart
Has anyone caught the Warner Brothers story that's been airing on PBS? One critic (I forget who) called 'What's Opera Doc?" the greatest accomplishment in Warner Brothers history, and I think I agree - sure, it's a short, but hell - nothing in animation rivals it. (I still like that TS2 is #1 on this list though)
