Preferred B
Oh good God, so it's longer than 24 hours this year? I saw ASSSSCAT at UCB Theater a couple years ago with Jello Biafra. Good stuff, but the LTS ensemble every year is just as good.
gogo
I saw ASSSSCAT at UCB Theater a couple years ago with Jello Biafra. Good stuff, but the LTS ensemble every year is just as good. They were here last year, with Neil Patrick Harris! Oh, and also once with Will Arnett. Yeah, between them and the Second City folks, who needs the musical portions of the evening?
renic
i'll be in a basement in the south loop working.
Edie
I'll be at a different benefit -- Cheap Trick at the Vic.
mountain bed
I'll be playing at a benefit - that is to say, my youngest kid's 18th birthday party. All proceeds will go to finding a nice place for her to live.* *j/k
tangara
This might seem like a silly question, but you can come and go from this thing, right?
kimcatch22
They were here last year, with Neil Patrick Harris! Oh, and also once with Will Arnett. I would die* if either of them showed up. *or just be really really excited.
k8tee
This might seem like a silly question, but you can come and go from this thing, right? I'm curious about this too! I went for a few hours last year and had a great time -- nothing better than being 2 inches from jeff tweedy as he sings sunken treasure. Looking forward to this year's benefit. tangara
I meant to go last year but something came up. The tickets are only available at the door, right? How early d'you think I'd have to get there to get in? Does it sell out? So many questions...
thagle
you can come and go as you please as long as you have a ticket although once it reaches capacity you might not be let back in , its one in, one out at that pointnot sure if it ever actually sells out last year was awesome
barbkm
Dang, I wish I lved in Chicago.
okp greg
The only place to get tickets is at the door correct? I'll be getting into chicago the 9th from omaha on my way to connecticut and would love to see this show. Also LouieB had mentioned some people sleep in the back at Second City. Is that something I should count on, or should I have a plan b lined up?
Preferred B
Yes, tickets at the door. As for sleeping in the back, people don't exactly bring bedding and set up for the night. But if you go back there and nap for an hour or two, nobody's really going to notice.
tangara
Thanks, Preferred! I'm excited for this Wonder when they're going to announce the ASSSCAT monologist(s)?
okp greg
So I know I'm a relative lurker here but is anyone up to meet up for this? I'll be with my 18 year old brother on my way from New Mexico to Connecticut and staying in Chicago at least the 9th.
