HungryHippo
Morrissey is gonna be in my backyard! how freakin crazy is this?
myboyblue
I was a big Smith's fan back in the day. Unfortunately, I can only take Morrissey's voice in small doses nowadays. That said, this sounds pretty good. I'm a bit surprised he's bringing the rock as much as he is. The cover is hilarious. Good stuff.
yermom
I can't find this on my usual sites. If somebody wants to throw a PM my way, that would be super awesome!

Kalle
There were quite a few presales for the tour today, did anyone else get tickets? Apparently (at least for the presale anyway) ticketbastard was blocking all Canadian credit cards and billing addresses, so I had to get my one and only American friend (being a border town does help) buy my tickets for me, I wonder if this is Morrissey hating Canadians even more by blocking all Canadians because one province has a seal hunt? But really c'mon Morrissey I bet you've even worn some leather shoes. Nonetheless I will be at the Ann Arbor date and I am quite excited.

Moss
I read an article that said Morrisey was huge in the hispanic community, I found that interesting.

jakobnicholas
Bought this record yesterday and have listened a few times. Too early to say how it ranks with his other solo records, but overall it's a good listen. At least half are very enjoyable.....a nice rockin' vibe and nice Morrissey voice fluctuations. His wit is still intact, but not consistently. Not bad lyrics, but kinda hit and miss. Overall.....I'm glad I spent money on it.
Welsh Rich
I think it's his best since Vauxhall And I in my opinion. I'm a massive Morrissey fan, but the last 2 albums have always sounded a bit stodgy to me - lacked a musical inspiration. However, it feels a little rougher this time around - he's angry, and it suits him!
pillowy star
IMHO, his best work so far. Gonna go see him in Offenbach, as it's only 20 mins away from us.
jakobnicholas
Anyone seen him live this tour? I'll be seeing him in about a week. I've read he's been a little surly, off and on. His band sounds to be decent....more rockin' than others. His setlists have basically been identical, give or take one song, and the order changes sometimes. Here's a standard setlist: 1. This Charming Man2. Billy Budd3. That's How People Grow Up4. Black Cloud5. How Soon is Now?6. Irish Blood, English Heart7. I Keep Mine Hidden8. How Could Anybody Possibly Know How I Feel?9. Ask10. I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris11. Mama Lay Softly on the Riverbed12. Best Friend on the Payroll13. When Last I Spoke to Carol14. Seasick, Yet Still Docked15. The Loop16. Death of a Disco Dancer17. Let Me Kiss You18. Sorry Doesn't Help19. Something is Squeezing My Skull20. I'm OK By Myself (encore)21. First of the Gang to Die
