bobbob1313
I hate Tim Tebow for similar reasons. Actually, not really. I hate Tim Tebow because he seems like a personalityless meathead. I don't get that vibe from Warner, so yeah, it's pretty dumb to hate someone because of politics. Hate them because they seem like douchebags (Like Tebow or Brett Favre.) Duck-Billed Catechist
The VC Superbowl thread is the forefront of the culture wars.
Analogman
Me too -- the Steelers were my favorite team, and remember that I am older than dirt. I am almost 34, but I recall watching them.
aricandover
I am almost 34, but I recall watching them. 34?
Sir Stewart
Almost 34 the same way I am - looking back.
Analogman
34? Ok, 43. Let's watch the:Immaculate Reception
cryptique
Maybe he wasn't expecting someone not to like an NFL quarterback, who is a genuinely nice guy and a great overall comeback story, for such a ridiculous reason (his view on stem cell research).Care to tell me who else I shouldn't dislike? Apparently I'm going about this all wrong.
bobbob1313
Didn't Cryptique criticize me for hating on Tim Tebow?

bobbob1313
I'm pretty sure you did. You did you're whole "I hate discussing Tim Tebow with you" thing.
cryptique
I'm pretty sure you did. You did you're whole "I hate discussing Tim Tebow with you" thing.Never happened. Go try and find it if you're so sure.
bobbob1313
That's honestly more along the lines of what I expected from this thread. Anytime we discuss something that is undeniably awesome on this board (Like coke or Jessica Simpson's boobs), there is always someone who will come on and ruin it with their naysaying. Like you and Tim Tebow?
cryptique
Confirming once again that you have no sense of humor, junior.
Duck-Billed Catechist
Don't be petty. I'll burn this thread to the ground and listen to it scream.
bobbob1313
I don't really care, just saying. I get hating on Kurt Warner, but at least he seems like a generally nice guy from interviews, regardless of politics. Hating on someone because of their politics is pretty shallow and petty. cryptique
Thanks for digging that back up. That was funny shit.

I'll tell you what.
cryptique
"Never happened".If you don't understand what happened in that soda thread, I can't help you. Hint: I don't like Tebow either.
Duck-Billed Catechist
I think he's saying never happened as in he's putting it behind him. Really, let's move on. This isn't interesting at all. Something that amuses me about the Superbowl is the football dudes making the media rounds to promote stupid crap. Shannon Sharpe is promoting the Hass Avocado Board. Shannon Sharpe is promoting the Hass Avocado Board. completely! I heard Shannon on Mike & Mike the other day and thought maybe I was misunderstanding. They were letting him plug the cause like he was promoting a charity or something. Note that I love avocados and omega3.
