Three dollars and 63 cents
That's a nice set list, especially I See Monsters as an opener. Was there only one set, or did they break it up? When I saw them back in September, Ryan said they'd skip the set break if the crowd could be quiet for an entire minute. I think we made it about a second and a half before somebody yelled something. He definitely gets more hecklers than the average performer, but it's good to hear he didn't let them get to him as he sometimes does.
Moss
something more bands need to start doing. I agree, the whole encore thing is silly anymore.

radiowilco
Gotta say I was really impressed with Ryan and The Cards on this night. I thought the sound was considerably better for Ryan than it was last year for Wilco. Great song selection - I See Monsters, Goodnight Rose, Bartering Lines, and My Sweet Carolina were all exceptional. Bartering Lines is an amazing song! This band just keeps getting better. Ryan's voice was a strong as I have ever heard it, and Neal is a wonderful guitar player - understated and beautiful. The band truly seems to be enjoying themselves, and Ryan is much better at ignoring and not getting bent out of shape by the "talkers" than he used to be. All in all - a great evening. Also, New Haven is way more fun on a Friday night than a Sunday night - although I really enjoyed Wilco's show last year - New Haven was totally dead after the chow was over. The Boston show was definately better, as there was almost no yelling out and he did My Sweet Carolina and closed out with Down in a Hole. He generally plays right to curfew (usually 11pm) and doesnt bother w encores. Both of these shows were 2 and a half hours long, so I had no complaints
Wendy
One set with joke telling mid-way through by the pedal steel player while Adams laid on his back on stage.......The joke wasn't funny......You have to realize Graboff tells bad jokes intentionally. He knows they're bad, we know they're bad, that's what's funny. Sort of the same bit as singing happy birthday to SpaceWolf every show!
