Moss
Anyone else see this yet? I just saw the first ep. Eastbound & Down I'm one of those philistines without HBO. I'm sure I'll catch it a year from now when it's on Netflix.
dmait
If you liked the first episode, wait until you see the next one, with Will Ferrell as guest. The show is over-the-top.
ikol
The last scene of the first episode is great.
bakerian08
The last scene of the first episode is great.that part was too great. the combination of the the ridiculous jet ski stuff and "black betty" made for some big laughs from my roommate and i
Wendy
I sorta love how delusional he is (i.e. episode 2's boogie down the hall at school, and the gymnasium ecstasy dance scene! ) Losing your celebrity must be a bitch.
jonbama
They really hit the nail on the head with the bar owner. His line about following widespread during college then hitting a line reminded me of about every bar owner i ever knew in boone or tuscaloosa. the show is funny. Papillon Parade
Yeah, I love the music in it. Fits the show perfectly. Looking forward to the next episode with Will Ferrell. I don't have HBO either, I download the torrent.
BreezyGrass
That dance scene was out of control. The show has promise. Anyone catch the Life & Time's of Tim? That was hilarious as well a sleeper for sure. And Lucky Louie - probably on par with EB&D in the raunch area. Good stuff.
chanman1128
I saw the trailer after i read your comments and thought it looked lame... then i downloaded the first two episodes, watched both of them, and I have to say they were terrible. This show is pretty weak. Not too funny. What is up with his brother? Freakin weird actor.
BreezyGrass
He was the brother of Seth Bullock on Deadwood. Weird looking for sure. Was the wife on the show in that Still Standing show? She looks very familiar.
chanman1128
I also don't know what to make of the band teacher. I think it is suppose to be funny, but to me its really disturbing. With that music playing at the end of the second episode made that whole scene feel very drowsy. Was it suppose to be funny or just really awkward/bizarre? I just don't think this is a well-made show. I feel like an idiot could have wrote this stuff.
stagerug
To me, this show has promise to be one of my favorites. I may be an idiot, but that show had me crying I was laughing so hard. The part where while he's trying to put the moves on the busty teacher, he asks how much will she give him if he slam dunks his lunch tray in the garbage can...I love this guy. This is the only comedy show on TV, besides It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, 30 Rock and occasionally Flight of the Conchords, that really get a good chuckle out of me. embiggen
He was the brother of Seth Bullock on Deadwood. Weird looking for sure. Was the wife on the show in that Still Standing show? She looks very familiar. Seth Bullock and Sol Star were not brothers. they were business partners.
BreezyGrass
I stand corrected. Its been a long time since I caught the show. I'm still pissed that he left Deadwood in the lurch to do John from Cincinatti! (Which I enjoyed but not as much as Deadwood.) Regardless I do beleve it is Sol Star then that plays Dustin. Rewatched both episodes twice this weekend tunring people on to it - there are little nuggets in every scene!
chanman1128
okay, i promise this is my last post about this show... just gave episode 3 a chance... I still think it is terrible, but from here on out, i am done posting about it. awful show.
bigshoulders
Saw the pilot, and was underwhelmed.
