Guest Jules
OK, did this last night and added todays votes so far. This is thru post #140 in the other thread. 348 total votes so far. I ignored the non-wilco album entries (demos, mermaid, side projects, live, etc). I don't know if this means anything, but it was fun. Here ya go! 1 Poor Places (26)2 Pot Kettle Black (17)3 Jesus, etc. (16)4 She's a Jar (15)5 Via Chicago (15)6 At Least That's What You Said (15)7 I am Trying to Break Your Heart (14)8 Misunderstood (13)9 Muzzle of Bees (13)10 You Are My Face (13)11 Handshake Drugs (12)12 I'm Always in Love (11)13 Ashes of American Flags (11)14 Theologians (11)15 Sunken Treasure (10)16 How to Fight Loneliness (7)17 Kamera (7)18 Spiders (Kidsmoke) (7)19 Company in my Back (6)20-24 5 songs tied with 5 votes (BoxFul, Shot, Hell, Hummingbrd, BBN)- 44 other songs with at least 1 vote Other stats: - Votes broken down by album (obviously doesn't take into account # tracks per album)AM-16BT-49ST-68YHF-98AGIB-78SBS-26W(TA)-13 - 35 songs received 0 votes
Sir Stewart
Nice job.Jesus, etc. walked away with this a few years ago. Funny.
lamradio
I'm surprised "Shot In The Arm" isn't on the list and it's one that I've always considered to be a fan favorite. Nice work Mr. Jules, thanks for posting.

Nice work Mr. Jules, thanks for posting. It was one of the songs with 5 votes (see revised list). Yeah, that surprised me a little too.
jakobnicholas
Dash 7 didn't even make the top 20?! You all are complete idiots.
Central Scrutinizer
Quick work and fascinating. Pot Kettle Black is the only song I'd consider "up tempo" in the top 10. "Fan favorite" and "live favorite" is obviously two different things. Could you imagine a live show with the playlist from the first 23 songs? "... Hello, suicide hotline? ...." Guest Jules
If people keep voting, I'll update the list.
Moss
Wow, "Company in my back" cracked the top 20. I would not have guessed but happy to see it.
Central Scrutinizer
Based on the above, here's songs per each album ranked compared to total # songs on album (unless I screwed up something): Songs from each albumAM - 1 / 13BT - 4 / 19ST - 2 / 15YHF - 6 / 11AGIB - 9 / 12SBS - 1 / 12W(TA)- 1 /

"Fan favorite" and "live favorite" is obviously two different things. Could you imagine a live show with the playlist from the first 23 songs? "... Hello, suicide hotline? ...." I would definitely be interested in the list of live favorites. I'm also surprised that Poor Places has that big of a lead on everything else. And my top 3 ended up in the top 12 of the compiled list. Not sure what that means.
Lammycat
It means you get results, bleedorange.

mountain bed
Well I'll be dogged. I had #1, #13, & #16. I almost feel good about this.
Smokestack Joe
NO Impossible Germany??!!?!?!?!?! i always hear a huge applause when the song comes on!
othersongs
Yeah I was going to mention that I'm surprised 'germany' is not on the list. I think that's one of the better songs I've heard in the last 26 years. Also, this survey can't really include WTA cause there's a lot of peeps who haven't heard it yet. And those who have; it takes a while to get a love for a song.

I've always been horrible at picking my favorite songs by any band because it's so mood-dependent. But I agree with you on Impossible Germany - great song and probably my favorite on SBS and top 3 all time. Right now I feel similarly about One Wing, but I'm not sure if that will hold up over time, especially without the ending that I loved live.
Guest Jules
Out of the 348 total entries, Impossible Germany had 4 votes.
Gobias Industries
Haha, none of my picks were in the top 20. I'm just so indie, right?
standenup
does anybody love I Got You as much as me?
jmacomber68w
Could you imagine a live show with the playlist from the first 23 songs? Lets take a little walk to "Imagination Land"! Lets imagine Wilco has a VC invite only show, with a our list of fav songs as the set list! Something like this.... Wilco (The Song)Company In My BackSpidersKameraHow to Fight LonelinessSunken TreasureTheologiansAshes Of American FlagsI'm Always In LoveHandshake DrugsYou Are My FaceMuzzle Of BeesMisunderstoodIATTBYHAt Least That's What You Said E1: You And I*^Via Chicago*She's A Jar*Jesus Etc* E2: Pot Kettle BlackPoor PlacesBull Black Nova I threw in some new songs, because obviously if the band were to perform a concert anytime soon, they would include some new tunes. *-With Andrew Bird^-With Feist

Guest Speed Racer
I probably do. Red-Eye/I Got You/SES was such an awesome medley 1997-2000. SES just killed - that's really the only way I like that song.
