moxiebean
Looks like a Spring 2010 tour of the South after all!! Wilco, the hugely popular alt/country band, will perform in Savannah March 25 as part of the 2010 Savannah Music Festival, March 18-April 3.

jff
Good news! I'll probably skip that one. Maybe an Atlanta date will follow. Is $55 the norm these days for Wilco tickets?
Maddie Hope
Thanks Wilco!!! Wilco in Savannah, I love it!!! Just maybe some other southern dates will show up that I can be lucky enough to see more than just one show... I want to thank Wilco for coming to Savannah!! See I've just started a 755 page book, the final book of a quartet about Savannah by Eguenia Price. Reading the history, thinking how it was 200 years ago. In March I will get to visit the city, walk the same streets as these people did so long ago, find places that are still standing today. It will be such an extra special visit this time... JessieOK
just as I was trying to scrap together an excuse to get back to Savannah...
badu2fan
just as I was trying to scrap together an excuse to get back to Savannah... Jeff said they would play charleston every year during his show last summer so maybe they will head back there as well.
tft3323
I would not be shocked to see a Jax and Charleston show around this date. Needless to say, we are very excited here in Savannah. Thank you Wilco!! Very cool to support the Savannah Music Festival, which is a great event that is starting to earn some respect and national attention.

Thank Ya Kindly Wilco edit: two of my kids (grown kids) decided to come with me to see Wilco, this makes it so much better!!!
lamradio
Hmm.. Should I wait until another possible southern date shows up, or go ahead and jump on this one? It is a 4+ hour drive for me.. But I am off work that day and the next... Decisions decisions....
awatt
Very thrilled to see this show. Got tix for the familia.
froggie
Good news! I'll probably skip that one. Maybe an Atlanta date will follow. Is $55 the norm these days for Wilco tickets? the way the australian dollar comapres to the american one these days, that's damn cheap!. in 2007, we had to pay close to $
Preferred B
$55 (USD) is definitely not the norm for Wilco tickets, and I thought the Savannah tickets were $35.

Then if they come close to you, you can just see them twice! I hope they do a southern tour too, and any florida date would make me happy but If we can throw out some suggestions, maybe a tampa/orlando show would be nice this time? I'm thinking about making this my kids first Wilco show as well (4 and 6 years old).... Yeah, trying to start them young so hopefully they'll be into good music when they become tweens/teens.
