nalafej
Entertaining time last night. Jeff Garlin on first and definitely crossed the line a couple times (p word etc). Fred on next and did a drum solo then drummer impersonations (Charlie W, Keith M, Sheila E, Bonzo, Glenn K and few others). Introduced Tweedy who came up and took requests. Armisen played along for a few of the songs...he started with the Waffle House song and also did Theologians, Heavy Metal Drummer, When the Roses Bloom Again and Airline. Fred then did some guitar impressions, celebrity impressions. Funny stuff. Fred Armisen is very funny. There was a break and then all three came out and answered questions from the crowd. Garlin did 90% of the talking at that point. I was happy to attend and am glad that Sue and Jeff do this sort of thing for their community. Not sure this deserves to be in the after show thread. gogo
Was listening to Doug Benson's podcast this week, and Jeff Garlin was one of his guests. Jeff Garlin announced that he'll be starting his own podcast soon, and already has guests lined up, including Henry Rollins and Jeff Tweedy in January. Will be interesting to see if Tweedy manages to get a single word in a conversation with those two.
