that guys "hip" cover of the song almost makes me hate it.i understand its how each person relates to it,but he heard this song and wanted to do some upbeat jazzy cover?at least otis redding it slowly with horns.there must be a new drug out there i havent heard of that when he heard it sounded like a happy pop tune in his head.i understand im supposed to be wrong.

Is the Dude heading down to the show? i should try to make it...

I definitely plan on it. Of course, every year I say I'm going, and every year a work-related emergency crops up. :realmad Try to go though, looks like Wendy, Maureen & Edie are going.

Hello friends.

FYI

Jeff will be auctioning off a private concert in your home for you and 29 friends during his performance.

I hope to see y'all there. Hoping our event isn't getting old hat to you. At the very least Jeff is never "old hat".

This year you will be able to watch and donate live on line http://www.letterstosantachicago.com

Thanks guys!

Geography makes me a completely disinterested party, but on behalf of those factions who may already exist or be gathering to participate, I thought I'd double-check: 'a' means 'one' this year? (entirely understandable and hopefully should therefore attract top dollar for the cause :thumbup )

Hi, This will be my sixth year attending, thanks so much for putting this on. You really do do a wonderful job. Any idea of when Jeff will be performing?

Not that I won't be there either way, I just work at 6 am now which makes this a little more difficult then when I was in collage. :)
