suites
True. If only it weren't for the Sting solo album on side two of Synchronicity.  I think Police qualify...Sting solo does not count. Neutral Milk Hotel.Of course, that was only 2 albums, but they were both freaking great.  Like Nirvana...not enough albums to qualify. Sweet Papa Crimbo
Yeah, I love all five albums. But I know that many people don't. Not to be argumentative, but it's about YOUR opinion. You love the Police (as do I), so they go on your list.

You love the Police (as do I), so they go on your list.I thought I might be the only one here to stick up for all five albums, but I can see that I was wrong. So, fuck it: The Police. Every album rules.
JMal
I'd say for people to count they've got to have been around for more than 15 years... Radiohead (Pablo Honey is great but maybe not amazin..) Gillian Welch
RaspberryJam
Are we counting Two Against Nature and Everything Must Go?  --Mike I pretty much feel that they broke up in the late seventies, so I'm not familiar with those. Donald Fagan's solo stuff is ok
lamradio
Cut the Crap wrecks it for the Clash. Yeah, just goes to show The Clash was not just the genius of Joe... Without Mick and Topper, they just didn't have it...

Donald Fagan's solo stuff is ok I have only listened to Gaucho the whole way through a couple of times, but I love their 70's run.  Ted Leo and the Pharmacists have hit consistently with me, Califone too and just about every Brian Eno solo album that I have I've liked. --Mike
Moss
If only Van Halen had hung it up when DLR left...  I thought everything up through Fair Warning was great.
GtrPlyr
I thought everything up through Fair Warning was great.Agreed. "Diver Down" was the only so-so album in the Roth era. "1984" got them back on track and then it was over.
