sleepymonkey
Just wanna know I'll be the only one doing it at the Ryman or if others will join me. I hope it catches on and becomes a crowd participation type thing
H.Stone
It's sort of like naming your kid Tyler John so you can give him the nickname T.J.: you really have no control over it once he's exposed to the public. You can give it a whirl and see if anyone joins in, but sometimes strange things catch on. Back when Wilco played Shake It Off live in support of SBS, people started shouting, "Woooooo!" after each "shake it off."
Preferred B
Not to mention the people who say "echo echo echo" and then crack up after Jeff sings "His goal in life was to be an echo" in Hummingbird.

u2roolz
Not to mention the people who say "echo echo echo" and then crack up after Jeff sings "His goal in life was to be an echo" in Hummingbird. I usually sing "His goal in life was to be Mr. Eko." And my recent favorite to sing to myself in the car is "Oh I can only dream of the dreams we'd share if you were Nels Cline." nalafej
I'll clap on Saturday. I'll also do the whistle during "Dawned". Sounds fun. I was in Indy for the initial Shake it off Woo and the band's reaction was really funny.
smells like flowers
I like to clap at the end of Monday when Jeff's screaming "Alright! Alright! Alright!" but it's hard to keep up with the freak-out! Worth a try, though.
Autumnteeth
I did but then I do it at home too. At home is fine, in the car is not just somewhat embarrasing but also dangerous.
Sweet Papa Crimbo
Just wanna know I'll be the only one doing it at the Ryman or if others will join me.I hope it catches on and becomes a crowd participation type thing When I go to a Wilco show, I am attending a Rock show. I am not attending the stinking Rock Horror Picture Show.
