Madrone
Picked up tickets for this. Pretty excited to see Wilco in a 400 person club. Assuming, of course, it is Wilco.
Analogman
Really dying to know what this means It's a take on the title of a Byrds album called The Notorious Byrd Brothers (1968).
Sandy in SFCA
It's a take on the title of a Byrds album called The Notorious Byrd Brothers (1968).I meant what does this mean musically. Is it just a photo, or are there plans for the show beyond the photo?
Analogman
It does seem out of sorts for them to post something like that.
Magnetized
If I were a betting woman, I'd bet it will be an acoustic set, similar to Friday night's set at Solid Sound. Maybe with a Byrds cover or two tossed in.

Shug
I would guess they are covering that entire album. Totally envious of this show. http://www.apeconcerts.com/event/902155-notorious-wilco-brothers-san-francisco/

Totally envious of this show. http://www.apeconcerts.com/event/902155-notorious-wilco-brothers-san-francisco/It seems like they wouldn't be that literal, but you never know. I think an all-acoustic set is probably a better bet. It would certainly be much less work for the crew...
Shug
At least it would seem to be advertised as a show primarily focused on Byrds and Byrds-related covers. I can really see Nels and really everyone in Wilco digging on the more experimental sounds and obscure songs on this album, though. Its also not really an acoustic album, either, lots of electronic keyboards and effects. There has gotta be a significant reason why they chose that album title and photo to advertise the show and give the band a temporary new name, I would think.
The Inside of Outside
Looks like Wilco has a 75 minute set (6 to 7:15), after St. Vincent and before Mumford and Sons.
