remphish1
I liked them in order 1, 2 3, Really liked the Disintegration heavy set to start!
u2roolz
You should check out http://thecurecommunity.freeforums.net/ . Really good fan site. Lot of nice people on there from all over the world. After you post 50 times you get access to a bunch of concert downloads. I joined fairly recently & it has been a very positive experience.I checked out this site and found it to be very easy to get around. I didn't see too much audio, but there was a ton of YouTube clips. Can I post 50 words to get access quickly? Glad you got to go. I wish I could've done 3 nights in NYC, too. I can't fly that far though because of some health issues sadly. 2 hours to Vegas is about the max for me & that's like being in a carwreck. It is pretty cool about the random nature of the setlists. Not many bands care enough to do that. I saw 2 radically different shows in the span of 10 days. Fortunately, I got the Disintegration set in Vegas. All n' all though Portland was better. 2 songs from Pornography! Again, glad it worked out for you. Thanks! I can't believe that I went to NYC in 2003 for 2 Pearl Jam MSG shows & took the really late bus back home. I'd never do that now. I can't be bothered. Boston didn't get any songs from Pornography. I was bummed. Nice! I'm pretty sure you're going to get 3 very different shows. I think there are only 2 songs they've played every night (Lovesong & Just Like Heaven). I am very jealous! Although I did get to see them in a 3000 seat venue....And LA & NYC were treated to very different shows. I wonder if NYCTaper was at any of the shows? I went to all three MSG shows.. highlights were Closedown, Last Dance, Dressing Up, Bananfishbones, All I want, Burn, This Twilight Garden, The Snakepit, The Hungry Ghost. Good run...I really wish they played Exploding Boy or 2 Late..I LOVE THOSE SONGS but really can't complain. I REALLY wanted All I Want. Cheers on Last Dance, Dressing Up and This Twilight Garden. I'm not a big fan of The Hungry Ghost. I'm surprised that they didn't do Exploding Boy & 2 Late in NYC. I multi quoted your quote about the 2011 show that you went to, but I don't see it. I'm hoping that that gets released at some point. Any leads on audio from that? Thanks!
remphish1
U2 you got SINKING thought right!? Can't believe how little that gem is played!
u2roolz
YES! I've heard that now 2 out of my 4 shows I've seen since 2000.

You have to do 50 posts to get access to the tapes. There are some gems in there. It goes by quick! PS: it wasn't me that went in 2011. This year was the first time I've seen the Cure. I had a run of bad luck regarding them until this year. Now I want more! I've been listening to a lot of catalog & there is so much good stuff. I've bought all of the 2 disc reissues except for 3 Imaginary Boys & that one is coming soon. Rhino did a good job on the packages. Glad you had a good time. I hope the band will be back soon with a new album!

tinnitus photography
so i am in dublin for work, and the cure is playing tmrw... i put in for it, but not too optimistic i'll get approved. i am tempted to just get an aftermarket ticket but if it rains it'll be fucking miserable. weather's been shit all week for the most part. I just got home from watching it. The film does a great job of remind those of us who have seen them live that they're incredible. And it should be the impetus for those who haven't to do something about that in the future.

My second cousin died on a Saturday night. I was pretty sure that the wake would never be the same night as The Cure film, but I think they had to delay it to allow out of town family to fly in. Glad I never bought a ticket. I’m guessing October for the Blu-ray. I just got home from watching it. The film does a great job of remind those of us who have seen them live that they're incredible. I checked around New England and all of the showings were on Thursday evening.
