The more important question is: is @bböp touring in 2025?

After taking a brief summer recess from these parts, it appears I am back on duty starting tonight. And to answer the Tatlock, I will indeed be touring in ‘25. Marking my quarter-century of seeing the Wilco.

It didn't come from the band, but saw the band reshare a post saying that Austin will have no repeats. That's promising...

Pretty sure that was the promise when those shows first went on sale. At least I thought so, but I've been wrong before!

To quote the late great Bill McLaren "They'll be dancing in the streets of Pontypool tonight!"

Two South East USA dates on the calendar already!

Any predictions on what we'll see the rest of the year?

Anyone else notice that April 26th date as part of the Moon Crush Pink Moon weekend in Florida has disappeared from both Wilcoworld and the Topeka sites and seems like it might get scrapped? When you Google "Wilco April 26 Moon Crush," this is the first thing that comes up. It's a link to Wilcoworld, but it goes to a dead page:

26 April 2025 | Miramar Beach, FL | Moon Crush Pink Moon

Apr 26, 2025Wilco - Tour - going to cancel 12/2 ~ 26 April 2025 | Miramar Beach, FL | Moon Crush Pink Moon.

This was the announced festival, as reported by Relix back in August.

Waxahatchee was also supposed to be part of that fest, but since they have already been announced as the opening band for Wilco's May 15th show in Charlotte, I sort of suspect there could be a Wilco/Waxahatchee run in the works around that time...

It'll be interesting to see how much time Wilco gets to steal the show each of their 3 nights on the Outlaw Music Festival. They really made the most of their time during the Americanarama shows. Hope to see some headline shows scheduled before/after but I guess this rules them out for Newport Folk Festival which I was hoping for.

August 1 - Wantagh, New York

August 2 - Saratoga Springs, New York

August 3 - Gilford, New Hampshire

I don't really blame the Outlaw gang - but surprised that they are not swinging through Tinley Park again ---- when I saw Wilco was going to be part of it, I was hoping for a Tinley date.

It sold really well last summer in Tinley.

Seems kinda odd to me that they're just doing the three dates, but who knows why? Also, if I'm not mistaken, they still could do Newport Folk, correct? I believe Newport Jazz is scheduled for Aug. 1-3 (with the folk fest taking place the weekend before).

oh! Indeed! Seems Likely, even. Too funny that I had the wrong festival name in my head despite just having watched A Complete Unknown.

You called it (kinda!). Jeff (solo) was the first NFF announcement today for Sunday, 7/27.

Looks like we have some West Coast dates coming through

8/24-25 in Seattle

Presale is on Thursday. Years past the zoo concerts have had a code of "BECU" for presales. I have a feeling that there is going to be some sticker shock.  The  zoo shows have been on the spendy side in the past. I'd expect north of $100 for GA. One thing about the zoo shows: the ADA seating is awesome. In the front to the side of the stage. Also, there is a strict curfew for the zoo shows.

Supposedly there is an artist presale happening now, but I don't see a code anywhere. As to prices, I don't know if they are all the same (can't remember), but I did just pick up tickets through another artist's presale at the Zoo and they were about $72/each.

Zoo animals have bed times to keep! Can't have a grumpy giraffe or capybara because they rocked too long. :)

Wayne from the Flaming Lips mentioned that when they played there.

So the code I had for Seattle was no good. I did find out the pricing. $165 reserved, $65 GA. That's without fees etc. So, GA would be pretty close to $100. On the other hand, Drive-by Truckers are going on sale at the same time. $56 fees included I think. Sadly, I'm going to have to pass on both of them. I've seen both bands a real lot. Health & finances dictate less concerts. I blew the concert budget on Nick Cave & Nine  Inch Nails. I'll be doing good if I make both of  those. Getting old & decrepit isn't for the meek!
