1. Michigan might not go to a bowl game this year, and I doubt they'll play WVU even if they do. 2. Despite #1 above, I don't think Michigan will be as bad this year as many people seem to think. 3. Conversely, I don't think tOSU will be as good this year as many people seem to think (though still better than Michigan). They'll be lucky to win the Big 11, won't play in the BCS title game, and may not even play in a BCS bowl. 4. Michigan will beat tOSU by 2010 at the latest, and will start beating them pretty regularly at that point. 5. I have absolutely no sympathy for West Virginia. T

Of course I'm forgetting that Father Joe's visions would be classified as "supernatural." But yeah, I would have liked something supernatural or alien in terms of a villain. Nevertheless, a pretty good flick.

I saw this yesterday, and thought it was terrific. I do agree, to some extent, that it would have been nice to have something supernatural driving the storyline, but what they did use wouldn't have been out of place in one of the original episodes. Anderson was great, Duchovny good. The way they swapped the pair's accustomed roles was very cool -- though Scully's was flipped much more than Mulder's. Far, far better than the first movie, and quite enjoyable.

I saw a trailer for this yesterday in the cinema (I was there to see the new X-Files movie). Really looking forward to this one.

As a Kalamazoo native, former Chicago resident, and Bell's fan, I am quite pleased by this news. It's been amazing to watch a formerly tiny local brewery turn into a regional giant without turning its back on what made it great. Happy days in Chicago!

Man, that's a shame. I enjoyed him on the odd occasion that I'd tune in the Braves on TBS. Who ever would have thought that Skip would die so much younger than his father? For all the abuse Harry put his body through, he had an ironclad constitution.

Thanks for posting those. Can someone comment on the origin of these videos? Obviously they're not some guy in the audience with a camera phone. That said, the director clearly isn't a Wilco fan, because he/she has no idea which camera to cut to most of the time. For example, we never did get a decent shot of Nels during his long solo on "Impossible Germany." Still ... better than somebody's hand-held from the back of the audience, to be sure.

In the set break between Elvis Costello and the Police last night, there was some weird video sequence on the screens, and for a while I thought the music was synched to the video, but it wasn't. It was nearly all '80s music ... except for "Heavy Metal Drummer."

Sastre made quite the charge yesterday, and it brought him the yellow. Looks like the final time trial may decide the race. Yeah, but in the evenings Versus sticks us with Craig Hummer and Bob Roll, who probably don't have 80 IQ points between them. Utter morons. I enjoy Phil Liggett and Paul Sherwen, though Sherwen is prone to the occasional inanity. Fortunately, we are usually home early enough to watch the first replay, which still has their commentary. Why Versus thinks the prime-time replay needs those American idiots, I'm not sure.
