  1. Robert, you can download it here to hold you over (it can be a little difficult to find) http://time-has-told-me.blogspot.com/2006_...me_archive.html --Mike
  2. Some days you just need to listen to Be Not So Fearful on repeat for about an hour.. --Mike
  3. So yeah I am about eleven months late on the Rubies bandwagon...but damn this is a great record. --Mike
  4. I think both Mermaid records were nominated for something, there's the famous story from the 1998 (I think) ceremony where Puff Daddy thought Tweedy was an usher and there's a bonus clip from the I am Trying To Break Your Heart film where John and Jay are seen riding from the Grammy's in 2001, lamenting their loss. --Mike
  5. I think Sam Jones taped all of the June 29 and 30th, 2001 Minneapolis shows and probably got the majority if not all of the Summerfest and Grant Park shows also. I'd love to see all of that surface eventually maybe Nonesuch will put out a massive reissue of Foxtrot on it's tenth anniversary and we'll get a chance. Just planting seeds guys... --Mike
  6. . That would be excellent. --Mike
  7. Macca has always wanted to project some edge into his image, since he has been kind of tagged as the sappy one over the years. Anyway that was a great read, I loved the story about Lennon and McCartney going to see Bowie in the seventies, I'd never heard about that one before. --Mike
  8. I was looking at that one today it got a good review in the Big Takeover and the name intrigued me as I am a huge Nick Drake junkie. What do you think of it? Is it going to get realeased in the states soon? --Mike
  9. Mende this might be the best news I've heard all day, granted it's only a half an hour into the day, but I'm pretty sure it will hold up. I'd love to see this surface, send it to JHamm, he'll fix everything up and give us bonus features too. --Mike
  10. Yeah thanks dude. . I'd love to see it eventually surface, but I doubt it will. --Mike
  11. I don't know but I am sure playing air guitar along with Pat Sansone certainly does --Mike
  12. . Me too. And I love this site and I am thrilled to see it back. --Mike
  13. Wow, Adolph really went south in the 30's and 40's. --Mike
  14. I caught a little bit of his set at the Tall Stacks Festival, he was on a few hours before Wilco, it was really good. --Mike
  15. Wilco: March 19, 2002 Bolder, Colorado Macky Auditorium. One of my favorite shows from this era of the band. --Mike
  16. The Fiesta Bowl was fantastic and I almost had a coronary watching the Mountaineers in the Gator Bowl, but somehow they pulled it out. --Mike
  17. Gay Parade is my personal favorite of theirs, they've got an excellent back catalogue. While they aren't quite on the level of their Elephant 6 contemporaries Neutral Milk Hotel and The Olivia Tremor Control, they're a pretty good band. I am looking forward to hearing the new one. I might try to make the Cleveland date too. --Mike
  18. If we keep winning we'll hopefully grab an at-large bid. And I am going to be pulling for Pitt (which is quite rare) against Louisville this weekend. --Mike
  19. Thanks a lot for the kind wishes guys. In this past year VC has become one of my favorite places on the web, and I have enjoyed trading and yacking with quite a few of you. It's been a pretty good one so far, I've got to get through one more class and then Thanksgiving Break starts. I'll be headed home and might have a few of these in the evening. --Mike
  20. I programmed an ipod playlist based off your tracklisting for it, it works perfectly. When Wilco opens up the archives, they need to come looking for you, Robert. NP: I am about to turn 21 and I am both terrified and excited at the same time, as usual this record understands everything. --Mike
